At Blackmoor Park Infant School & Kindergarten, we believe that positive Learning Behaviours are key to helping children achieve their full potential. Listen – We teach children the importance of paying attention and showing respect to others when they are speaking. Active listening helps to create a positive learning environment where everyone feels valued.

Respect – Being kind, considerate, and valuing everyone is an integral part of our school community. We promote respect for others, ourselves, and our environment.

Interact – Collaboration and teamwork are vital skills. We encourage our pupils to work together, share ideas, and learn from each other to build strong relationships and develop confidence.

Keep Going – Perseverance and resilience are important qualities. We teach children to stay determined, overcome obstacles, and never give up, even when learning feels difficult.

Think – Problem-solving and critical thinking are essential for learning. We support children in asking questions, reflecting on their learning, and finding creative solutions to challenges.
