A wonderful time had by all in Chestnut
This week Year 2 went on a trip to the Museum of Liverpool to celebrate their learning linked to the World Wars. Chestnut had a wondeful time and we now know even more about World War 2. We looked at photographs and information about Liverpool in the blitz and even the grown-ups told us stories about their grandparents or what happened to the streets they live in during the war.
We also visited the Pier Master's House and it gave us an idea of what it was like to live during war time. We even found something that went under the bed at night. Can you guess?
