PE Superstars in Beech!
In our PE lessons this term we are looking at developing our social skills. Our learning goals for this term are:
ALL of us can work sensibly with others, by sharing space and equipment.
MANY of us can help, praise and encourage others.
SOME of us can show patience and support others.
We are discussing and exploring together on how we can develop our knowledge and skills to meet our learning goals.
Our fundamental physical skill that we've been developing for the last 3 weeks has been our seated balance. We are exploring on how we can maintain a balanced shape and how we can change our seated balance shape in a smooth and controlled manner. We have been working together to complete three coloured challenges which will help us develop our seated balance technique. The order of the challenges go in are; Yellow, Green, Red. We aim to complete 1 coloured challenge every lesson.
We applied our seated balance skills in a game called mirror image, where we have to copy our partners seated balance. At the end of the lesson we played 'tap to congrat' where we give someone praise for the statement Mr Clarke says...(tap to congrat someone who kept going when they found it difficult).
We hope you enjoy seeing our learning. We would like to challenge YOU! To have a go at our coloured challenge cards!
