PE Stars in Chestnut
This term we are working on our creative skills, our learning goals are as follows:
ALL of us can compare our movements with others.
MANY of us can respond differently to a variety of tasks.
SOME of us can make up our own rules and versions of activities.
For the last 3 weeks our fundamental physical skill we have been developing is our ball skills, we have been exploring a variety of ways how to manipulate the ball, with a big focus on maintaining control of the ball. We have been discussing together what is needed to keep control of our ball at all times. We have enjoyed challenging ourselves with our coloured challenges each week, which are included in the slideshow for you to have a go together at home.
We have applied our handling skills by playing a game called 'getting around us' were we worked in pairs to explore how many different ways we could get the ball around our partners body, while keeping total control of the ball.
