Artists, scientists and discussions oh my...

This week we continued our printing. We used items pressed in dough to make prints. It was so exciting to see our final prints on the paper. Some children swopped and changed colours, then layered their prints. Others repeated their own print across the page. In Science we looked at materials used for beds. We talked about our own beds; made from metal, plastic and wood. In ICT we are looking at digital painting. This week we looked at Matisse and recreate one of his masterpieces on the iPad. In PSHE we talked about sharing a problem/ situation with friends and grown-ups. We agreed it's so important to speak to others. We went outdoors to use the compasses. We gave each other directions using north, south, east and west.
