Celebrating Learning - Year 1

Hello everybody. We hope you have a good week. We have continued to receive some excellent work from our Year 1 children who are working really hard at home. The children who are in school have also worked hard this week.

We are now two weeks into home learning now so hopefully everything is going ok. The year one teachers have rang everybody this week so hopefully you have had a phone call and the chance to talk to your child's class teacher.

Below are just a few examples of some of the tasks that have been completed by the children at home and in school. The last two photographs actually happened just before Christmas but we didn't get the chance to celebrate the news with everyone. Louie entered a reading competition outside school which involved reading in unusual places. Louie read his bees book to the bees in full protective gear and won the competition and received £100 book token which was then, at the request of the competition organisers presented to him by Mrs Hitchmough. Well done Louie!!
