Happy Chinese New Year

Reception wish you good fortune, good luck, good health, wealth, love, peace and joy to you all. This week we have explored Chinese New Year and had lots of fun celebrating with lots of activities. We have learned how the creatures in the Chinese zodiac found their place, in the story of 'The Great Race'. We have been sequencing the story and retelling the story in drama. We have been printing, using collage, making tiger paintings, masks and decorations. A huge thank you to our Chinese parents for the extra Chinese New Year resources sent in to school for us to share and for the fortune cookies!

Look at our outdoor classroom. We enjoyed a story and sang songs out there this week. We are looking forward to doing more learning outdoors.
