It's Friday...Let's celebrate!

Good morning, everyone!

We have come to the end of another fantastic week of learning, here in school and at home, and as always we have got lots of good news to celebrate. We can see how hard everybody has been working this week, and the best thing is that everybody has been having lots of fun with their learning, too!

In Year 1 we have been learning about Handa's Surprise - we have enjoyed finding out facts about Kenya, all the different animals in the story and talking about all the fruits we like eating and how they are very good for us. We have also had lots of fun learning how to measure length and height in different ways.

There has been another special birthday in Oak class this week. Lana turned 6 and she got a fantastic new desk to use for all her lovely learning at home! We hope you had a wonderful birthday, Lana.
