Its good to talk...

This week in Year 1 we have been reading Ruby's Worry. Many children in Year 1 were a bit worried before moving to Year 1. They said that they don't feel worried anymore as they know what Year 1 is like. In Ruby's Worry, Ruby discovers that talking about a worry helps to shrink it. In class we talked about who we can talk to if we feel worried; grown ups, friends and siblings. We now know that sharing a worry helps to shrink it, then makes it disappear. We also know that thinking about a worry makes it worse.

As always its been a great week full of interesting topics and conversation. We cant wait to see what next week will bring.
