Jubilee Memories with Hazel class.

We had a fantastic day celebrating the platinum Jubilee. We learned about the history of Queen Elizabeth’s 70 year reign and made timelines. We used our creative skills to make mascots of the Queen and thought about the Union Jack when we coloured in our crowns. We enjoyed the portrayal of the Coronation with Mrs Hitchmough playing the part of the Queen and had a fabulous lunch with all of the children in our school on the playground.

In the afternoon we had a visit to our classroom from two beautiful Shetland ponies. We created lovely memories of a historical event with all of our friends.
