Last week of Home Learning Year 1 !

Happy St. David's Day everyone! What a beautiful start to the week , Spring is in the air!

Well we are nearly there, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter by the day. This time next week our classroom doors will be open to everyone, and our rooms full of all our children, and we are so looking forward to seeing you all again.

So enjoy your last week working together.

The next set of Read Write Inc. videos will be sent out shortly. On Purple Mash there are a range of activities to complete including our new story for the week.

We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday by Zoom! Everyone can wear their favourite colours and we will be hearing lots of colourful stories! Your teachers will be in touch to let you know what time your class Zoom will be and the passwords needed.

There are lots of different activities you can do at home based on your favourite stories. Make your own books, write your own stories, make a comic strip based on your favourite superhero. Don't forget to use Oxford Owl to find new stories to share together. There are stories already on the website read by your teachers, have a listen to them.
