Let's celebrate with Year 1!
Well done, all, on completing Week 4 of learning this term, whether at home or in school. We have seen some fantastic examples of children's learning this week and know that all of you are working so hard and doing your best to enjoy your learning!
Below we are delighted to share some examples of the work that has been completed this week, in school and at home. All children have been enjoying learning to add and subtract with numbers to 20, reading about Jack and the Beanstalk, continuing to explore senses, using Purple Mash and even making finger puppets for our geography topic all about the countries of the UK.
It is also lovely to see that lots of children have been making the most of their time outdoors with winter walks and adventures around their local area. Lots of children really enjoyed taking part in our author reading session on Thursday and completing the tasks to go with the story.
Teachers in Year 1 have really enjoyed chatting with some children at home this week on a video call and seeing some lovely examples of their work.
Please enjoy our celebration pictures this week. As always, please keep emailing your teachers and sending in your photos of what you have been doing each week. Please keep checking in on our weekly blogs and tuning into our new story time sessions.
We hope you all enjoy a lovely, relaxing weekend after another week of very hard work!
Love from Miss Pendleton, Mrs Reaney, Miss Wilkins, Mrs Sullivan and Miss Skelly.
