Life in Reception!

We have had a fun filled few weeks in Reception. There has been lots of events happening around our school that we have been able to enjoy!

Last week was a very busy week and we had lots of activities throughout school. On Tuesday we came dressed in red, white and blue, and made crowns for our coronation lunch. We also had a Eurovision celebration day, on Friday, were we learned all about the countries selected for our classes.

In Maths this week we have been practicing our subtraction and subitising skills, as well as creating shapes with cuisenaire rods, and comparing quantities. The children have enjoyed learning with these activities.
