Oak's last few days in Year One
Well I can't quite believe that Oak's time in Year One finished today. We have had a busy final week and worked in pairs to complete a Maths puzzle and had another ukulele lesson which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Yesterday we enjoyed our daily story outside and had ice pops to cool us down. Today we took our learning outside and completed different activities including jigsaws, small world play, shape pictures and made paper aeroplanes.
We have had a wonderful year together and the children have worked very hard, It was a difficult year with school closure for a term and many restrictions in place but the children have still flourished and learnt many things.
We said goodbye to two children in our class today - they are moving to new schools and we wish them all the best for the future. They will be missed.
Thank you so much for your continued support this year, especially during the Spring Term when school was closed to most pupils.
Thank you also for all the wonderful cards and gifts, It was very generous of you all.
We hope that you all have a wonderful Summer.
