PE Superstars!

This term in PE we focused on developing our social skills.

Our learning goals are:

• I can play with others and take turns and share with help.

• I can work sensibly with others, taking turns and sharing.

• I can help, praise and encourage others.

We start every PE lesson by spreading positivity. The children do this by, sharing kind words, hugs, smiles, hi-5's, and thumbs up!

For the first three weeks our theme was 'The Moon Adventure'. The children travelled in their spaceships to the moon. We explored the surface and described how things felt and looked. We focused on jumping and landing safely without touching the items on the moon.

Our fundamental physical skill for this theme was developing our awareness of how we can jump and land safely. We now understand the elements we need to demonstrate to ensure we jump and land accurately.
