PE Superstars in Rowan

This term in PE we are looking at developing our social skills.

We have been visiting the moon in our PE lessons, exploring various ways of travel on the moon and using our imaginations with various resources. You will see the children exploring with the moon rocks and alien eggs that we found on the moon.

For the first 3 weeks of term our fundamental physical skill focus was jumping and landing. The children demonstrated these skills through our yellow, green and red challenges. The children described with the peers how to maintain balance when landing and what we need to do with our bodies to jump safely.

We applied this skills in some friendly competition against our friends, they had to jump and land safely three times and whoever got the furthest won themselves a point.
