Story time with Miss Wilkins - Year 1
Miss Wilkins has read one of her favourite stories - 'The day the crayons quit' written by Drew Daywalt and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers.
We hope you enjoy listening to the story - it is quite a long one!!
When you have listened to the story can your child answer these questions:
1, What is the little boys name?
2, Which crayon ended up short and stubby? Why?
3, Why did the peach crayon stay in the crayon box?
4, Why were the orange and yellow crayons not talking to each other?
5, What did the little boy do at the end of the story? Why?
Challenge - Can you draw a picture using every different colour crayon/pencil or felt tip you have? Take a photo of it and send it to your teacher.
