Story time with Mrs Ware

Mrs Ware has read the very well known story 'Elmer' written by David McKee.

This is a wonderful story celebrating differences. One your child has listened to the story see if they can answer the following questions:

1, What type of animal is Elmer?

2, What colour is Elmer?

3, How did Elmer change the colour of his skin? Why do you think he did that?

4, What were all the elephants doing when Elmer returned?

5,What did Elmer do to let all the elephants know he was back?

6, How did they decide to celebrate 'Elmer's Day'?
