Super Reading in Pine class!

We love reading and read at every opportunity in the day. We explore new texts and think about the meaning of what we read during Guided Reading with an adult and during story time. We read every day during our Read Write Inc lesson. We especially love to curl up with a book in the book area. We read quietly on our own, we share a book with our friends or just listen to someone else reading a book they enjoy.

This week we are reading and exploring Dogger by Shirley Hughes. Dogger is a soft brown toy and belongs to Dave. He takes him everywhere but one terrible day, Dave loses Dogger...Will Dogger ever be found? We used our knowledge of story order and vocabulary to order the events from the book. We also developed our team work skills by working with a partner.
