The end of Spring term...

This week has been so fun! We made Rice Krispy cakes to help us write instructions. We orally rehearsed our sentences before we wrote them down. We used imperative verbs and time connectives. In Numeracy we've been exploring numbers to 5o, using equipment to support our learning. In Art we looked at religious art. Some classes created a stained glass window. Others took this idea and made their Easter card a stained glass window. In RE we looked at - What matters most at Easter. We used the different items that represent Easter e.g. rabbit toy, chocolate egg, a crucifix. Then discussed the different ways people celebrate Easter. During Science we explored the difference between evergreen and deciduous plants. We created our own illustrations showing a tree throughout the seasons. For DT we finally made our fruit salad. We were so excited, we needed lots of reminders to focus on our ask and keep keep our eyes on the fruit. In Computing we looked at coding called Scratch Jr. We know how to access the programme, change the background and move the character.

We have been learning so much. We can believe the Spring Term is over. Happy Easter to all our families.
