Welcome to Kindi 3+

Dear Parents/Carers and friends of our nursery,

Welcome to the Kindi 3+ Nursery Blog 2021! We are delighted that you have joined us here and we hope that you enjoy reading about all of the learning taking place.

Every Friday we will share a celebration blog of an aspect of learning and experiences that the children have enjoyed that week.

We have had a wonderful time in Kindi this week, making new friends and getting to know the adults in our room. We have been exploring our spaces and joining in with some aspects of the Kindi 3+ routine. We have begun circle times, singing our 'Hello Song' in small groups and story times. Maybe your little one will remember the 'Hello Song' at home?

Each week we will add new aspects to the routine as the children become more settled and are ready for the next steps. Next week we will be introducing our first Favourite 5 Story-The Invisible String. The story will be read daily to the children as we discuss and explore different aspects each day. Using the Favourite 5 approach ensures that all children learn 35 stories in depth each academic year.

As the children have settled so well and already begun to form relationships, next week we will be allocating key person adults. We will of course inform you at home who your child's key person is. Look out for the key person All About Me information that we send home.
