Wonderfully creative bunch!

Rowan love art and learning about current artist and artists from the past. We have enjoyed looking at the art of Jean-Michel Basquiat who was an American artist. He rose to success during the 1980s and was known for painting and drawing. He was greatly influenced by how the human body works after a stay in hospital as a child and also a keen graffiti artist. He also collaborated with pop artist Andy Warhol.

Rowan used different creative media and techniques such as layering and collage to create their own Basquiat inspired work, including some graffiti art.
