Year Two Home Learning -World Book Day
A fantastic week which had World Book Day celebrations both inside and outside school. Our Zoom lessons were a roaring success. It was really wonderful to see you all again.
We are learning and working hard, both at home or in school. Well done everyone, once again.
This week in Year Two we have continued to learn about grouping to use both tally charts and Pictograms. We have now progressed to using Bar Charts to also record and retrieve data that we have found.
We have also enjoyed reading and understanding The Secret of Black Rock by Joe Todd-Stanton. We have explored the sea and how we can look after it and also created wonderful poems.
Year Two has expanded their knowledge of World War One this week once again. We have learned about the roles children took during the war and how everyone had to ‘Dig for Victory’.
We hope you enjoy some of our wonderful work.
Mr Clarke, Mr Frascina and Mrs Ware enjoying their telling their Zoom stories on World Book Day!
